Hmm...only today then I read all these comments. But isn't that true? Come to think of it, that is the nature of the charcoal, and it is actually nice that slowly it fades away. But not to the extent by abusive touching like what the audience at SB was doing. I witnessed for myself how they mistreated the work. Not just my work, but many other artists' works. In some blogs, it seems that I sounded so petty. Actually, I am not. I am really not that upset as some people think. The most I touch up. But I am upset by the way audience treat artworks. That smiley face on the label (even when there is no touch sign) was the last straw. I am actually fine with finger prints on wall. But with a smiley face...it means somethings else. Would anyone touch Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" if it is not behind glass? I bet Singaporeans would. I think art spaces are places they could release! So if anyone wants to draw with me and draw on the wall (with terms and conditions) , come to Sculpture Square from 5 till 17 Dec to meet me at "LOST CITY II". I will show you how black you can get.
